Brandon James Ltd in Romford is seeking a Bid Writer to join its established construction team. You will own tender submissions, develop high-quality bids for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and public buildings, and collaborate with operations and commercial teams to gather information.

The role requires strong written English, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines across multiple submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and compiling construction bids.
• Experience in construction, refurbishment, or social housing sectors.
• Strong written English and attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple submissions.

Responsabilités

• Writing, developing and completing high-quality tender submissions.
• Producing bids for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Social Housing and Public Building projects.
• Completing PQQs and supporting wider pre-construction submissions.
• Reviewing tender documents and identifying key client requirements.
• Working with operational and commercial teams to gather information.
• Developing clear, persuasive and tailored written responses.
• Managing individual submissions and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
• Maintaining bid content for future submissions.
• Supporting the wider bid team and Bid Manager when required.
