An experienced BID Writer is required on a permanent basis for a leading engineering client based in Nottingham.

Role Overview

The BID Writer will be responsible for all aspects of BID writing, including:

  1. Assisting the Pre-Construction Manager in developing a bid structure.
  2. Leading and facilitating face-to-face storyboard session workshops.
  3. Identifying and reworking existing pre-written content where relevant.
  4. Writing and editing responses for bids, client presentations, and sales collateral.
  5. Coordinating all aspects of BID writing.
  6. Researching procurement opportunities.
  7. Collecting information from relevant sources.
  8. Communicating with external and internal stakeholders.
  9. Supporting all aspects of the BID process.
Key Skills
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong written English skills and a wide vocabulary.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong team player.
  • Driver's license (due to potential UK-based travel).
Qualifications
  • Degree educated (preferably in English) or equivalent.
  • Professional writing background.
  • Certified to APMP Foundation or Practitioner Level.
Additional Details
  • Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
  • 40 hours per week, office-based with 1 WFH day per week.
