Here at Trinity Fire and Security Systems we are looking for a Bid Writer to join our team of Bid Writers and Estimators. Reporting to the Bid Manager, this is a writing-focused role within a fast-paced environment.
Whilst previous experience in Bid Writing would be preferred, we’re open to considering someone with a background in tender submissions who has commercial acumen, is organised and has great communication skills.
Your primary responsibility will be to write high quality bid responses for new tenders. This will see you coordinating and completing the bid response process, developing, and maintaining a knowledge base of ‘standard’ answers and templates, as well as identifying ways to improve the quality and consistency of the bid response process. To do this effectively you will need to liaise with other teams and senior stakeholders ensuring submissions are made on time and to the required quality. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, especially written English grammar, spelling & vocabulary, combined with the ability to understand technical concepts and tender questions then provide clear concise responses whilst working to tight deadlines and challenging targets.
