Job summary

ASL Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Tender Writer to manage end-to-end bid processes. You will write persuasive, compliant proposals for commercial, industrial or public sector cleaning contracts, coordinating with the operations team to draft method statements, pricing schedules and quality responses.

The role is office-based in Eastbourne, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 with a 30 minute lunch break. It is a 6-month fixed contract with potential progression to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bid/tender writing in cleaning/facilities or service sectors.
• Excellent English grammar, editing and storytelling; translate technical specs into engaging text.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office and digital procurement/tender portals.

Responsibilities

• Draft clear, persuasive responses to ITTs and PQQs.
• Create and maintain a content library of standard processes, policies and case studies.
• Interview operations managers to gather site data, staffing models and equipment details.
• Ensure submissions meet deadlines and compliance requirements (ISO, CHAS, word limits).
• Identify client pain points, USPs and winning themes from tender documents.
