Job summary

Standard Life, a retirement specialist, is hiring a Bid Coordinator in the UK to deliver high-quality responses to RFPs and questionnaires for Employer Benefit Consultants and Corporate Advisers. The role supports tender coordination, ensuring timely submission and strong controls across the sales cycle.

You will work with a panel of EBCs and CAs, and help prepare pitches and site visits, contributing to persuasive, accurate submissions in a hybrid setup across Edinburgh, London or Bristol

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in workplace pensions or financial services within a sales-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging content.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across teams and managing multiple deadlines.
• Experience coordinating projects or processes where attention to detail and time management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering high-quality responses to RFPs and research questionnaires for Employer Benefit Consultants (EBCs) and Corporate Advisers (CAs).
• Coordinating and project managing the tender process, ensuring strong controls and timely delivery through the sales cycle.
• Working with a designated panel of EBCs and CAs, aligned via our BDD/BDM network.
• Helping the team prepare for pitches, site visits, and other critical stages of the sales process.
• Ensuring every opportunity pursued is supported by well-crafted, accurate and compelling submissions.
