The Bid Management Team provides a bid management service that follows the company's bid process and best practices throughout the bid lifecycle to deliver comprehensive documentation that meets our customers’ exact requirements.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and plan bid projects, including forming bid teams, creating bid plans, work packages, milestones, and deadlines.
- Manage internal communications within the bid team and with key stakeholders, working closely with the bid opportunity owner.
- Manage the virtual bid team and oversee operational aspects of bid projects, focusing on timely, quality, resource, and deliverable management.
- Track internal and external bid delivery dates, ensuring completeness and consistency among contributors.
- Develop and document bid strategies, differentiators, win themes, key messages, and proposal content.
- Handle document management, including filing structures, naming conventions, and ownership of the bid collaboration portal.
- Collect, prepare, and integrate standard and customized proposal content for customers.
- Ensure the quality of offer documents and presentations, considering customer individuality and bid differentiation.
- Support customer-specific campaigns, coordinate marketing support, and ensure brand compliance.
- Conclude bid projects by providing content for reuse in knowledge and bid libraries.
- Participate in projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of presales activities.
What you’ll need
- Technical or commercial education or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with bidding industry standards and best practices (e.g., APMP, Shipley).
- Assertiveness and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative thinking with pragmatic problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, credible at all organizational levels and in different country contexts.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to utilize company bid data sources.
- Experience leading virtual bid teams without disciplinary responsibility.
- Proficiency in document creation, collaboration, and management using Office 365 tools, including SharePoint and MS Teams.
