Job summary

TRIA is seeking an IT Bid Manager to join during a period of growth and technology modernisation. The role focuses on delivering technical bids that align with customer requirements and roadmaps, while collaborating with Product, Platform, Architecture, and Technology teams.

The position is 3 days per week onsite in London or Leicester, with salary to be discussed. You will drive supplier value and coordinate bids across stakeholders in a technology-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bid, proposal, or tender management in a technology-focused environment.
• Experience working with a public transport business.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment between franchising requirements and relevant product roadmaps.
• Drive improved value from existing suppliers and support supplier evolution.
• Translate franchising and bid requirements into coordinated product inputs.
• Review tender documents and extract all technology-related requirements.
• Create compelling technical narratives communicating the organisation's capabilities and solutions.
• Work with Product, Platform, Architecture, and Technology teams to develop accurate and competitive responses.

As the IT Bid Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of technology-focused tender responses. You will have responsibility for defining and delivering the technical aspects of bids, ensuring that the technology solutions are compelling and aligned with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive improved value from existing suppliers as well as support the evolution and selection of suppliers
• Translate franchising and bid requirements into co-ordinated product inputs
• Review tender documents and extract all technology-related requirements
• Create compelling technical narratives that clearly communicate the organisation's technology capabilities and solutions
• Work closely with Product, Platform, Architecture, and Technology teams to develop accurate and competitive responses
