Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in Gloucester is seeking a Bid Manager to coordinate bids across Defence, Government, Transport and Utilities. You will lead the bid process end-to-end and work with Sales, SMEs, Commercial Leads and Technical Leads to develop compelling submissions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in telecoms or services-led environments, be highly organised and adept at managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines. APMP or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience managing bids, proposals or tenders from start to finish.
• Strong project coordination, organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Confident working with cross-functional sales, commercial and technical teams.
• Commercially aware and able to interpret customer requirements and financial bid information.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance and NPPV3 clearance; APMP or equivalent qualifications are desirable.

Are you an organised and detail-focused Bid Manager with experience managing bids, proposals or tenders from start to finish? Are you confident coordinating technical, commercial and sales teams to deliver high-quality submissions?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international telecommunications and technology organisation, where you'll manage strategically important bids across Defence, Government, Transport and Utilities.

In this role, you will coordinate the complete bid process, from the initial opportunity stage through to submission, deal review and post-bid activity. You'll work closely with Sales, Subject Matter Experts, Commercial Leads and Technical Leads to develop compelling written and financial submissions across a broad portfolio of network solutions and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing bids within telecoms, technology, infrastructure, the public sector or another services-led environment. They will be commercially aware, highly organised and confident managing multiple stakeholders, requirements and deadlines. Experience with Crown Commercial frameworks and an APMP qualification would be advantageous.
