What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Bid Director, the Bid Manager will work as part of the wider pre-construction team and lead the creation of innovative and effective responses to a wide variety of pre-qualification and tender document submissions. Working from the Glasgow office, Morrison Construction have a dedicated bid team who undertake the bidding processes for projects across a variety of sectors and ranging in value between £m and £m. A key part of this role will be supporting and managing our team of bid writers and bid co-ordinators, taking ownership of the delivery of bespoke “win strategies” and managing all aspects of the “end to end” bidding process.

We are looking for someone who is naturally inquisitive and has the passion to challenge ideas and the will to provide innovative solutions. Key “ must have ” competency requirements include: -
You will possess strong organisational and project management skills, an eye for detail and meticulous proof-reading and communication skills both written and verbal. Experience of working in a proposals / work winning environment is essential.
You will have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. A team player with a “can do” attitude and ability to think “outside the box”. You will also be an ambitious individual who wishes to grow their career in parallel with the continued growth of our business.
