£30,000 - £35,000 Dependent On Experience

You have the opportunity to join our established Finance BI Team at Lookers Motor Group. Your primary responsibility involves working within SSMS, undertaking an end-to-end developer role, and managing all ETL and Data Warehousing processes to meet evolving reporting needs.

Responsibilities

1. Write SQL in a structured manner to guarantee effective manipulation and retrieval of data.
2. Take proactive measures to identify and resolve issues with datasets, reports, stored procedures, views, and jobs.
3. Communicate proficiently with end users to guarantee their requirements are comprehensively fulfilled.
4. Design intuitive reports for users and tailored to their specific needs.
5. Adhere to protocols for testing and change management procedures.
6. Document new processes to facilitate understanding and future maintenance.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Strong data modelling and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
3. Proficiency in SQL development, preferably using SSMS.
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
5. Familiarity with ETL concepts.
6. Effective organisation and time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
