BGL Insurance is seeking a BI Manager to enhance business intelligence reporting and support decision-making processes. The role involves building relationships with stakeholders, delivering metrics, and managing data quality. As BI Manager, you will provide all aspects of BI Reporting activity for Plan, Journey, Commercial, Marketing, Partner, and Finance teams and opportunities. Your role involves building trusted relationships with key stakeholders by defining internal customer outcomes, translating these into requirements, and guiding the team to deliver on time, enabling exceptional experiences for customers and the business. You will play a key role in BI activities from strategy through ideation to delivery and support, including delivering metrics through various tools and ensuring the appropriate delivery methods are used.

• Providing regular business reports to support decision-making and planning, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
• Building and optimizing datasets to enable business self-service. Translating strategies and needs into a backlog of high-quality user stories, and prioritizing these through internal forums.
• Enhancing impact through visualization and storytelling.
• Creating a centralized repository of key KPIs and metrics.
• Managing data quality issues to resolution.
• Prioritizing the backlog and managing expectations.
• Ensuring clear and agreed requirements for the BI team.
• Promoting consistency in business metrics across teams.
• Supporting Data Warehouse teams in defining and testing data requirements.
• Making trade-off decisions regarding scalability, costs, and technical debt.
• Identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies related to change delivery.
• Leading, coaching, and developing high-performing talent, with succession planning to motivate and drive objectives.
