Job summary

Equiniti is seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to design, deliver, and support reporting and analytics for internal stakeholders and external clients. You will work closely with clients, project teams, solution architects, and technical teams to drive end-to-end BI deliverables.

The role combines strong technical expertise with stakeholder management, consultancy, and leadership, and requires leading multiple reporting workstreams across projects while ensuring quality and governance of

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering BI and analytics in a commercial environment.
• Advanced Power BI development, data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design.
• Strong SQL development and data analysis skills.
• Excellent understanding of reporting architecture, data warehousing, and data modelling principles.
• Experience with Azure data and analytics technologies and modern cloud-based reporting platforms.
• Proven ability to quickly learn, assess, and implement new reporting tools and technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consultancy experience.
• Experience facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders and external clients.
• Ability to tell compelling stories with data and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading reporting workstreams and managing multiple priorities across concurrent projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, validation, and reporting controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver BI reporting and analytics solutions for internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Lead end-to-end reporting workstreams across multiple projects and clients.
• Collaborate with clients, project teams, solution architects, and technical teams to define and deliver reporting solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.
• Design data models, semantic models, and KPI frameworks to support reporting requirements.
• Ensure quality, governance, and accuracy of reporting outputs.
• Produce and maintain data dictionaries and reporting inventories.
