Job description

As a crucial part of the Alcumus BI Team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our global BI visualization platform to enable on-demand access to information and insights.

This role is vital to our broader initiative to leverage data effectively on a global scale as we expand our business.

What that means day to day

What you’ll need to be successful

• Provide engaging, insightful, and innovative dashboards and reports to drive action from insights.
• Design and deliver top-tier BI reporting solutions to meet customer needs, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and iterative development.
• Own the Power BI delivery and ongoing development of our BI applications, adapting to meet evolving business needs.
• Maintain and optimize the BI suite for performance, working closely with Data Engineers on data warehouse solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve them efficiently, and communicate effectively.
• Support and advise clients on the optimal use of Power BI.
• Promote the broader use of data and analytics across the business in line with the BI Team's vision and values.
• Report progress and updates through appropriate meetings on BAU and projects.
• Support other projects as needed, collaborating with the wider BI Team and other departments.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements in reporting and visualization processes.
• Experience with data modeling and understanding of data warehousing.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on data and processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
