Job summary

Lindt UK is seeking a BI Developer to partner with stakeholders and IT to design, develop and support dashboards, reports and visualisations. You will ensure visualisations are fit for purpose and evolve analytics landscapes across the organisation.

Based in Richmond upon Thames with hybrid working (office 60%, WFH 40%), you will automate reporting, maintain documentation and drive adoption of analytics tools like SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in business intelligence analysis, reporting or dashboard development.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into BI deliverables.
• Practical experience of data visualisation, report development, testing and application support.
• Understanding of relational data and end-to-end BI lifecycle.
• Experience working with stakeholders, developers and data engineers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex information to non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of ERP processes and FMCG or consumer goods reporting desirable.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and/or Power BI/SQL; SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, Databricks desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and IT to understand BI needs.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize BI demand and provide effort, dependencies, risk and delivery input.
• Source and prepare data for analysis and develop reports and dashboards.
• Apply data visualisation techniques for clear information access for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with back-end BI developers and data engineers to ensure data models support front-end deliverables.
• Automate and operationalise reporting activities to improve timeliness and efficiency.
• Maintain solution documentation and the reporting catalogue.
• Define and execute test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Investigate data anomalies and propose improvements to data/process/design.
