Our people are at the heart of our success, and we’re building a team of forward-thinking professionals to support our digital transformation journey.

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-driven BI Developer to join our IT team. This role plays a critical part in empowering the business with actionable, data-driven insights through the design, development, and support of high-quality reporting solutions.

As a BI Developer, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to understand reporting needs and translate them into visual, scalable, and accurate dashboards using QlikView and Qlik Sense. You’ll also support and maintain existing BI solutions while ensuring ongoing performance and usability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports using QlikView and Qlik Sense.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to integrate multiple sources into Qlik applications.
  • Optimise Qlik BI solutions for performance, scalability, and ease of use.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Qlik BI solutions including specifications, processes, and user guidance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver meaningful, visual insights aligned with business strategy.
  • Provide first and second-level Qlik BI support, including training for end-users and troubleshooting issues.
  • Keep current with Qlik platform developments and BI industry trends to continuously improve solutions.
  • Share knowledge within the IT team and contribute to cross-training efforts.
  • Define and manage personal project plans to ensure timely delivery of business requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a BI development role within an IT or data-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes, SQL, and data modelling.
  • Hands-on experience with QlikView and/or QlikSense.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with other BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and Qlik certifications.

Skills & Attributes:

  • A detail-oriented problem solver with a deep understanding of data integration and BI best practices.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple workstreams.
  • Self-starter who thrives both independently and in collaborative environments.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Passionate about leveraging technology to support strategic goals and continuous improvement.

Why Work With Us?

At Highland Spring Group, we’re passionate about innovation, sustainability, and quality — and that includes how we empower our teams. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment where your skills and ideas will have real impact. We offer opportunities for growth, professional development, and a collaborative team culture.
