BI Data Analyst Role in Southampton. AWS, SQL, Collections.

This as a rare opportunity in Southampton to do some serious BI. This is a sharp, focused role at a UK-based consumer lending company where data isn't just nice to have — it's the engine room of strategy.

We’re hiring a BI Analyst to support the Operations and Collections teams, helping drive smarter decisions around arrears management, customer treatment strategies, and risk forecasting.

You’ll work across SQL, AWS Redshift, and Quicksight — building dashboards, running A/B tests, and linking what happens in collections to what shows up in the P&L.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and iterating segmentation- and trigger-based collections strategies
• Monitoring roll rate, delinquency, recovery rate, and charge-off trends
• Using A/B testing and performance tracking to compare strategy variants
• Forecasting collections outcomes and supporting KPI target-setting
• Writing robust SQL (Redshift) queries to extract, clean, and analyse operational data

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in collections analytics, operations insight, or lending strategy
• Fluent in SQL, with exposure to Redshift; Python is a strong bonus
• Knows how to communicate insight — and challenge assumptions
• Comfortable tying operational actions to business outcomes
• Bonus: exposure to forecasting models, strategy testing, or regulated financial services
