Job summary

Sony Europe in Weybridge is seeking a hands-on Business Intelligence Analyst to load and transform data, maintain SQL databases and scheduled jobs, and build Power BI reports to provide reliable insights for teams across Europe.

You will collaborate with experienced specialists, support users, and continuously improve reporting solutions in a fast-moving environment, helping the business grow while embracing learning and new tools.

Qualifications

• Experience querying and transforming data with SQL.
• Experience building Power BI reports or dashboards.
• Strong attention to data quality and problem solving.
• Clear communicator able to support both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve SQL databases, including tables, stored procedures, scheduled jobs and user access.
• Bring data into SQL from SAP Business Warehouse and other sources, then clean and transform it for reporting.
• Build and enhance Power BI reports, data views and other practical tools for business users.
• Investigate data, system and reporting issues, providing clear support and keeping users informed.
• Update data structures and reporting when teams, processes or business requirements change.
• Help automate manual work and improve the accuracy, reliability and usability of BI solutions.
