Job summary

Blue Light Card is seeking a BI Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll report to the BI Lead and collaborate with colleagues across functions to define what our key measures mean and who owns them, then build data models and self-serve analytics for confident use.

You’ll work primarily with SQL, dbt and Lightdash, leveraging AI-assisted development to deliver insights efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data models in a modern analytics stack (dbt, SQL).
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills with ability to deliver end-to-end work.
• Experience building dashboards in Lightdash, Looker or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Support metrics governance by helping stakeholders agree definitions and ownership of measures.
• Build end-to-end data models and dashboards from questions to finished products.
• Scope, test and deliver dbt and SQL work, using AI-assisted development where helpful.
