Job summary

Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a commercially minded Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. You will develop dashboards, automate reporting, and collaborate with Finance to support budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires strong experience with Power BI/Tableau, advanced Excel, SQL, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Strong experience using data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Query and complex formulas.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience building dashboards, KPI reporting and business performance tracking.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to a non-technical audience.
• Experience supporting or partnering with Finance teams.
• Strong numerical and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards, reports and scorecards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting requirements.
• Create and maintain KPI frameworks to monitor business performance.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability and integrity of reporting data.
• Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain documentation for reporting processes, data sources and dashboard development.
• Partner with the Finance team to provide reporting and analysis supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Develop finance dashboards tracking revenue, costs, profitability and operational performance.
• Support month-end and periodic reporting cycles through data analysis and reporting preparation.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiencies through data-driven analysis.
• Analyse financial and commercial data to support business cases and strategic initiatives.
• Support the development of financial models and forecasting tools where required.
