Job summary

BeyondTrust Platform SME is sought by a London-based law firm to maintain and optimise their privileged access estate, focusing on BeyondTrust EPM and PRA. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to London for stakeholder meetings and workshops.

You will administer the BeyondTrust platform, perform maintenance, upgrades, health checks and policy management, and collaborate with Security, IT and Service Desk teams as part of a regulated environment.

BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) & Privileged Remote Access (PRA) | Inside IR35 | ASAP Start | Contract until January 2027

We're partnering with a prestigious London-based law firm to secure an experienced BeyondTrust Platform SME to support and maintain the firm's privileged access management estate.

This role will focus on the administration, maintenance and optimisation of BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) and Privileged Remote Access (PRA) solutions, ensuring secure, reliable and compliant privileged access across the organisation.

While primarily remote, candidates should be willing and able to travel to London on occasion for stakeholder meetings, workshops and project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the BeyondTrust platform.
• Administer and support BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) and Privileged Remote Access (PRA) solutions.
• Perform platform maintenance, patching, upgrades and health checks.
• Manage BeyondTrust appliances, configuration and ongoing administration.
• Create, maintain and optimise security policies and privilege management controls.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution for platform-related issues.
• Liaise with BeyondTrust vendor support to manage incidents, escalations and product enhancements.
• Ensure platform security, availability and performance meet business requirements.
• Support audits, governance and compliance activities relating to privileged access management.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Service Desk and End User Computing teams to drive operational improvements and best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience supporting and administering BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) and/or Privileged Remote Access (PRA).
• Experience managing BeyondTrust appliances and platform configurations.
• Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) principles and security best practices.
• Proven experience with platform patching, upgrades and maintenance.Experience creating and managing privilege management policies.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working closely with software vendors and third-party support teams.Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience within legal, professional services or other highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of identity and access management technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft enterprise environments, Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale security platforms.
