Job summary

Drnewitt is seeking an experienced Beverage Technologist to join its applications team in Suffolk. You will develop innovative beverage formulations in response to customer briefs, transforming requirements into technically robust, commercially viable products.

The role involves collaboration with global teams, contributing to new product development and sensory evaluation. The successful candidate will have strong formulation expertise, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as Beverage Technologist or equivalent formulation/development role.
• Experience in beverage formulation and product development.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of flavour application and beverage development.
• Ability to independently manage projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Confident communication with colleagues, customers and stakeholders at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead beverage development projects from brief through to completion.
• Develop innovative beverage formulations meeting regulatory and commercial requirements.
• Evaluate flavours for beverage applications and select solutions.
• Collaborate with creative teams to translate flavour concepts into finished products.
• Support customer presentations, technical meetings and working sessions.
• Participate in sensory panels and assess product performance.
