Job summary

The NPI New Product Innovation / Beverage Development Lead at our Stourport-on-Severn site will steer the development of high-quality, value-driven beverages from concept through to recipe bank, focusing on alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and emerging categories. You will work closely with Commercial, Marketing, NPD, Technical, Procurement and Manufacturing teams as well as customers.

Qualifications

Experience in beverage development with soft drinks or non-cider beverages.
Understanding of beverage manufacturing and scale-up.
Experience in customer-facing development roles, ideally with retailer exposure.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify emerging beverage trends.
Creativity to develop new concepts and turn them into viable products.

Responsibilities

Lead development of beverages from concept to recipe bank and early-stage prototypes.
Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, NPD, Technical, Procurement and Manufacturing teams.
Prepare and develop laboratory samples for internal and external customers.
Work with Manufacturing to establish production methods for new-category beverages.
Own beverage development aspects of assigned projects within the NPD process.
Lead customer-facing innovation days and present concepts across the business.
Ensure recipes meet customer, supplier and regulatory requirements.
Participate in sensory panels with Quality teams and customers.
