Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking four Best Start Family Hubs Inclusion Practitioners to join the Family Hubs Team in a full-time role across Rotherham. You will deliver early intervention and targeted support to babies, children and families, helping them access the right services.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children, families and communities.
• Strong understanding of child development, inclusion and early intervention.
• Skilled in building positive relationships and supporting families to achieve meaningful change.
• Experience of multi-agency working and coordinated support.
• Ability to manage workload and respond to changing situations.

Responsabilités

• Work directly with children and families in homes, Family Hubs and community settings to identify strengths, needs and opportunities for support.
• Deliver targeted interventions and practical advice to improve children's development and family wellbeing.
• Plan and facilitate inclusive groups and activities, including sensory sessions, stay and play opportunities and parenting interventions.
• Support families to access universal, targeted and specialist services, ensuring equitable access for all.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to provide coordinated support and remove barriers to participation.
• Champion inclusive practice and provide guidance to colleagues and partner organisations.
• Build trusting relationships with families using a strengths-based, child-centred and inclusive approach.
