Job summary

Location: near Wilstead, commutable from Ampthill, Flitwick, Wixams, Kempston, Bedford and beyond; £35k to £37k DOE with early Friday finish and a comprehensive benefits package.

The CAD/CAM CNC Programmer will develop, test and optimise bespoke sheet metal solutions, create precise technical drawings with designers and internal teams, and ensure manufacturability on high‑specification projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing design environments.
• Proficient in CAD and CNC programming packages.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and optimise bespoke engineered systems and manufacturing products in sheet metal to precise manufacturing specifications.
• Create accurate and bespoke technical solutions in collaboration with designers and internal teams.
• Contribute to the delivery of complex, project-specific engineered solutions.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure designs are fully manufacturable and practical.
• Excellent technical drawing and detailing capability.
