Streamline Search Ltd is seeking a skilled Spray Shop Prepper for our Croydon site. You will prepare MDF, timber and veneered panels for the spray finishing process, ensuring surfaces are ready for primer and topcoat.

This hands-on role requires precise sanding, filling imperfections and maintaining high standards of workmanship. The ideal candidate will have experience in joinery, furniture or spray finishing environments and thrive in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Spray Shop Prepper or similar.
• Experience preparing MDF, timber and veneered components for spray finishing.
• Strong knowledge of sanding and surface preparation techniques.
• Experience using hand-held and powered sanding equipment.
• Ability to work to production deadlines without compromising quality.
• Reliable, organised and committed to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MDF, timber and veneered panels for spray finishing.
• Carry out hand and machine sanding to achieve smooth, consistent surfaces.
• Fill and repair dents, chips and imperfections.
• Inspect components for defects before they reach the spray booth.
• Label and handle components throughout production.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe prep area.
