Job summary

Linkit Resource Partnership Limited in Leicester is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our bespoke joinery team, taking projects from tender through to handover.

You will read drawings, prepare detailed costings and tender proposals, manage the tender process and keep opportunities moving, while building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure commercial success on projects up to £750k.

Qualifications

• Experience in joinery estimating, project management or closely related role within joinery industry.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

Responsibilities

• Estimating costs and producing accurate quotations for bespoke joinery projects.
• Producing detailed tender and quotation proposals, including the supporting financial information.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Managing the tender process and keeping opportunities moving.
• Proactively following up clients for feedback and updates.
• Building strong relationships with prospective clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Understanding the commercial position of projects with values up to £750k.
• Keeping project and quotation information accurate within the ERP system.
• Coordinating project handovers with the Project Manager and Buyer.
