Job summary

Streamline Search in Salisbury is seeking a Production Design Engineer to join our engineering team. Qualifications

• Qualified in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in production/electrical design.
• Experience designing electrical control panels and bespoke systems.
• Proficient with SEE Electrical and SolidWorks.
• Familiar with BOMs and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design bespoke electrical control panels and systems to meet customer specs.
• Produce wiring schematics, panel layouts and assembly drawings using SEE Electrical.
• Modify and maintain mechanical drawings with SolidWorks.
• Create and maintain BOMs and production routings in ERP.
• Collaborate with sales to review enquiries and prepare technical quotations.
• Provide technical support to customers and colleagues.
• Test and inspect panels prior to dispatch.
• Support new product development and continuous improvements.
• Maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
