Job summary

Elev8 Recruitment Ltd is helping a bespoke automation specialist recruit an Electrical Assembly Technician in the UK. The role involves wiring and assembling electrical components, testing and fault-finding on bespoke automated machinery, and supporting on-site installations across the UK and overseas where required.

You will read schematics, install pneumatic components, and work from electrical drawings on varied projects, with opportunities to see the full machines come to life rather than

Qualifications

Solid practical electrical foundation.
Experience in electrical fitting, assembly, panel wiring or similar hands-on environment.
Comfort reading electrical schematics and using hand tools.
Experience with pneumatics is useful.
Relevant electrical or engineering qualification or apprenticeship beneficial.

Responsibilities

Wiring and installing electrical components from schematics
Electrical assembly and machine wiring
Installing pneumatic components, equipment and pipework
Preparing cable and pipe routes, brackets and supports
Carrying out checks and testing on completed systems
Fault finding, repairs and corrections where required
Supporting machinery installations at customer sites when required
