We are urgently seeking Bengali Interpreters in Chesham, Beaconsfield, Amersham, and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

• Highly skilled and proficient in Bengali and English
• Excellent command of both languages and understanding of cultural dynamics
• Mastery of correct word order and grammar
• Wide vocabulary including idiomatic expressions and quotations
• Good communication skills: clear enunciation, pronunciation, professional tone
• Experience in Medical, Financial, Insurance, Courts & Tribunals, Police, or Government sectors preferred
• Must present DBS certificate, educational qualifications, two references, and a DPSI or Community Interpreting Certificate

Scope of Work:

Interpret for patients, clients, and end-users speaking limited or no English, attending hospitals, GP practices, social services, and other organizations. May include home visits with supervision.
