Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated administrator to join the growing benefits administration team. The role focuses on monthly payroll processing, data analysis in Excel, and handling weekly client HR data, while building strong client relationships.

Candidates with experience in benefits administration or data analysis will fit well. We offer hybrid working, 25 days leave, private healthcare and pension, plus a range of employee benefits and volunteering

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced Excel skills are advantageous.
  • GCSE maths and English at grade C or above.
  • Able to work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Good analytical and numerical reasoning skills.
  • Good planning, time management and organisation with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Able to learn quickly and manage own workload effectively.
  • Experience in flexible benefits administration or financial services is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly payroll and provider processing.
  • Data analysis in Excel using formulas and macros.
  • Weekly processing of client HR data.
  • Respond to client mailbox inquiries daily.
  • Handle queries and requests using in-house system.
  • Develop knowledge of clients’ flexible benefits schemes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues.
  • Ensure deadlines and SLAs for assigned clients are met.
  • Participate in annual client renewal projects.
  • Provide efficient, professional service to meet client and member needs and promote the WTW brand.

Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing administration team. A key role in administration of flexible benefit schemes. Building relationships with our clients, taking responsibility for monthly administration tasks and project work. This role would ideally suit someone who has experience in a benefits administration role or have experience with data analysis.

The Role:

  • Monthly payroll/provider processing
  • Data analysis in Excel using formulas and Macros
  • Weekly processing of client HR data
  • Responding to Client Mailbox enquires daily
  • Deal with queries and requests using an in-house system
  • Developing knowledge of clients’ flexible benefits schemes and requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Ensure deadlines and targets/service level agreements for allocated clients are met.
  • Participate in annual client renewal project, taking responsibility for Admin assigned tasks.
  • Provide an efficient, professional service to meet all client/members' needs and to promote the WTW brand
Qualifications

What will you bring

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal and able to articulately adapt style for various purposes and audiences.
  • Computer literacy of Microsoft Office software, in particular Excel – advanced Excel would be an advantage
  • Pass at C or above for Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent
  • Able to work to a high level of accuracy
  • Good analytical and numerical reasoning skills
  • Good planning, time management and organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet targets
  • Able to work quickly, but accurately in a professional environment.
  • Able to learn quickly, use own initiative and organise own workload effectively
  • Experience in flexible benefits administration or financial services would be an advantage
  • Prepared to put in the extra effort when needed to meet challenging deadlines
  • Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, overcoming any problems as they arise
