About the team

The Benefit’s HR operations team aims to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience. We strive to develop efficient and simple processes, systems, and policies. We aspire to ensure employees feel heard and are provided with the resources and support needed to be effective and efficient in their careers.

As a Benefits Specialist at TikTok, you will support various employee benefits within the EMEA region. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience and knowledge of different types of benefits, benefits operations, compliance requirements for various plans, and expertise in vendor management and system optimization.

• Support and improve benefits processes across multiple countries within the EMEA region and participate in benefits-related projects.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with vendors, adhering to contracts and SLAs.
• Ensure accurate and timely benefits data collection, delivery, and execution.
• Understand contractual obligations and their application.
• Support benefits process design and communication strategies.
• Assist with the annual renewal processes and the rollout of new benefit programs.
• Implement benefits within new entities.
• Onboard vendors in collaboration with Procurement and Legal teams.
• Manage benefit payments and invoicing.
• Develop relationships with local authorities regarding taxes and social security, if needed.
• Partner with HR Benefit Business Partners, HR Operations, Payroll, and Procurement teams to enhance benefit operations and improve employee experience.
• Work independently to research, analyze, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience in benefit operations, including pensions, private medical insurance, risk insurance, lifestyle, and wellbeing benefits.
• Good understanding of payroll and applicable taxes for benefits.
• Analytical skills with the ability to compile and reconcile data; proficient in MS Office (Advanced).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong execution skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in English; additional language skills in Swedish, Dutch, Spanish, German, Romanian, Czech, Italian, Romansh, French, or Luxembourgish are advantageous.
