Job summary

Police Care UK is seeking a Beneficiary Services Project Co-ordinator in the United Kingdom. You will provide compassionate, person-centred support to beneficiaries pursuing financial assistance and ill health retirement guidance.

The role involves holistic needs assessments, grants processing, multi-agency collaboration, and actively supporting the Ill Health Retirement Project. You will liaise with beneficiaries, families, healthcare professionals and partner charities to ensure timely,

Qualifications

Experience working with vulnerable populations.
Experience managing complex casework.
Experience working remotely and autonomously.
Experience giving financial or benefits advice.
Experience in multidisciplinary teams.
Up-to-date knowledge of welfare benefits.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in IT systems, including CRM platforms, MS Office, SharePoint and email.
Represent Police Care UK professionally in external environments.
Understanding of due diligence and related processes.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centred support to beneficiaries seeking financial assistance and welfare support.
Conduct holistic assessments to identify beneficiary needs and plan appropriate support.
Engage in sensitive conversations, offering emotional support and building professional relationships.
Refer beneficiaries to clinical support or safeguarding as needed.
Signpost to internal services and external agencies for additional help.
Collaborate with beneficiaries, families, healthcare professionals and partner organisations for coordinated care.
Provide cover for Project Coordinators during leave or peak demand to ensure high-quality service.
