Job summary

TMJ Interiors is seeking a skilled Bench Joiner to join our workshop in Bildeston, near Ipswich. You will work from technical drawings and cutting lists to produce bespoke, made-to-order components with high finish and tight tolerances.

This role requires attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to prioritise workload in a busy workshop. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

Experience in bench joinery and knowledge of joinery processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

Responsibilities

Assemble components from stock and cutting lists to high finish standards.
Machining components and assembling bespoke, made-to-order units.
Ensure components conform to drawings and tolerances; work efficiently in a busy workshop.

A leader within the UK construction market offering bespoke joinery solutions for Commercial, Residential and Specialist projects, we are currently looking to recruit a Bench Joiner to join our workshop team, based in Bildeston.

Our site supports various clients and projects across the UK. You will be involved in the construction of components, ensuring that the highest standards of finish and tolerances in accordance with information supplied, are achieved using the correct methods.

You are responsible for the assembly of products going through the workshop, including but not limited to; Machining components from stock and assembling bespoke, made-to-order, units in line with technical drawings and cutting lists to high standards of quality.
