Job summary

Greenborne Joinery in the South of England seeks a skilled Bench Joiner to craft high‑quality bespoke joinery in a busy workshop. You will join a team delivering panelling, doors, windows, and furniture for luxury residences and historic buildings.

You will have Level 2/3 NVQ in Bench Joinery and proven experience, with strong attention to detail and a passion for traditional and modern methods. The role is based at our Basingstoke workshop with a supportive, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Bench Joinery and previous bench joinery experience.
• Strong joinery skills gained through formal training or hands‑on experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Work from full-sized working rods to produce components for bespoke joinery.
• Prepare and follow cutting lists to ensure smooth production runs.
• Shape, machine, and cut materials to create precise joinery elements.
• Assemble components, perform dry fits and final assemblies to high standards.
• Fit ironmongery and other hardware with accuracy and care.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure pieces meet high standards.

You’ll join Greenborne Joinery, collaborating with a skilled group of craftspeople, you’ll have the opportunity to create stunning panelling, doors, windows and bespoke furniture, all made with a genuine passion for our clients who own luxury homes.
