Job summary

Imperium designs and delivers Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) for high-end environments. As a BEMS Service & Maintenance Engineer, you’ll manage live systems post-handover, conduct planned maintenance, fault response, and small improvements.

This site-based role covers London & South East with occasional remote diagnostics/admin. You'll work on Trend/Tridium Niagara, communicate clearly with clients and facilities teams, and maintain thorough service documentation to keep systems

Qualifications

BEMS service/fault-finding in live environments.
Experience with Trend and Tridium Niagara.
HVAC controls concepts knowledge.
Troubleshooting communications and integrations (BACnet/Modbus helpful).
Strong documentation habits: reports and backups.
Right to work in the UK.
DBS checks may be required.

Responsibilities

Deliver planned maintenance visits: health checks, alarms, schedules, trend reviews, backups, reporting.
Diagnose faults and restore service across software, wiring/panels, devices, networks and plant interfaces.
Use trend data and building behaviour to improve stability, comfort and energy performance.
Produce clear service reports and maintain accurate documentation and backups.
Communicate clearly with clients and facilities teams, setting expectations.
Identify lifecycle improvement opportunities and explain value clearly.
