Vertas Group is seeking a dedicated Relief Cleaner to join our Facilities Team in the Belper area. This role is offered on a zero-hours contract and operates on an ad hoc basis to support varying business needs.

You will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards across sites, including toilets, washrooms, classrooms, and common areas, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS check if not already held.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork in a cleaning setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean toilets and washrooms.
• Wipe down tables and surfaces.
• Clean across classrooms and communal areas.
• Hoover and mop floors.
