1:1 Behaviour Teaching Assistant – York
Location: York
Pay Rate: £85 - £95 per day (dependent on experience)
An inclusive and supportive mainstream school in York is seeking to appoint a committed and resilient individual to join their team as a 1:1 Behaviour Teaching Assistant. This position will involve working closely with a pupil who requires additional support to manage Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The successful candidate will have a calm, empathetic approach and a genuine desire to support the pupil’s emotional development and educational progress. A strong behaviour policy is in place to support staff, and full training in behaviour management strategies will be available to ensure you are well-equipped to succeed in the role.
This is a long-term opportunity offering consistency, collaboration with experienced staff, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a child’s life.
Key Requirements:
