Job summary

Lightcliffe Academy in Halifax is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to help manage pupil behaviour and support inclusion across lessons and in the wider school environment.

You will lead sessions in The Hub to enable reflective, restorative conversations, supervise detentions, and establish positive relationships with vulnerable students and families, all while supporting the Trust's Christian ethos and shared mission.

• Experience supporting students with behaviour in lessons and around school.
• Ability to supervise detentions and maintain safe, orderly environments.
• Capacity to build positive relationships with vulnerable students and their families.

Permanent, term time only, 38 weeks per year plus 5 days (39 weeks)

FTE Salary

GRADE B3, scp 7 - 11, £26,403 to £28,142 per annum, pro rata

Actual Salary

£22,709 - £24,205, based on 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We are looking for a dedicated individual who can:

• Support students with behaviour in lessons and around school
• Support and lead sessions in The Hub to ensure students have opportunities to reflect and have restorative conversations
• Undertake the supervision of detentions
• Establish positive working relationships with vulnerable students and their families in order to support their needs in school

You will be:

• A highly motivated and hard working individual
