Job summary

Affinity Learning Partnership is seeking a dedicated candidate to support students across the academy. You will be visible around the school, help implement behaviour procedures, coordinate detentions and carry out a range of administrative tasks with professionalism and discretion.

You will bring experience working with or caring for children, strong communication and organisational skills, and a collaborative, can-do attitude.

Job description

The Candidate:

You will have experience of working with or caring for children and young people and be confident in building positive, respectful relationships with students and adults. You will have good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to remain professional, approachable and calm when dealing with challenging or sensitive situations.


You will be able to work effectively as part of a team while also using your own initiative. A flexible and practical approach is essential, as the role involves being a visible presence around the academy, supporting the implementation of behaviour procedures, coordinating detentions and completing a range of administrative tasks.


You will be committed to supporting the needs of students, parents and colleagues, with a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to suggest solutions and respond positively to changing needs. You will understand the importance of confidentiality, safeguarding and promoting high expectations, and will demonstrate professionalism, integrity and respect at all times.


If you are organised, adaptable and passionate about helping students make positive choices and achieve high standards of behaviour, we would like to hear from you.


37 hours per week and 39.2 hours per week available.
