Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Behaviour Support Officer to join a school on a full-time basis. The role is temporary to permanent from mid-2026, with weekly PAYE salary provided.

The post focuses on promoting positive behaviour, supporting pupils with emotional needs and contributing to a calm, inclusive learning environment. You will work one-to-one or in small groups, implement strategies, maintain records, and liaise with staff to safeguard and support pupils’

Qualifications

• Experience in behaviour support, pastoral, or inclusion roles.
• Strong understanding of behaviour management and de-escalation techniques.
• Calm, resilient and consistent approach in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation and learning engagement.
• Work one-to-one or in small groups to promote positive behaviour.
• Implement behaviour strategies in line with school policies.
• Support pupils during lessons, transitions and unstructured times.
• De-escalate challenging situations using calm, consistent approaches.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams and senior leaders.
• Monitor incidents and contribute to reporting and tracking.
