Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Mentor to work in specialist SEMH provisions across Newcastle and North Tyneside. You will support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs and provide 1:1 and small group support to help them engage with learning.

You will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams, implementing behaviour strategies and promoting positive outcomes for young people in a supportive school environment.

Location: Wallsend, North Shields & Whitley Bay
Contract: Full-Time

About the Role

You will work closely with pupils who may experience barriers to learning due to social, emotional and mental health needs.

Building positive relationships and supporting pupils to engage in education will be a key part of this rewarding role.
