GSL Education in Rotherham is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to help pupils with special educational needs feel supported, build confidence and progress in learning.

You will work alongside teachers and support staff to adapt approaches to individual needs, promote positive behaviour, and maintain a calm, inclusive classroom where every pupil can engage and thrive.

Formación

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable.

Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant (SEN)

Location: Rotherham
Salary: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

You will support pupils with special educational needs who may need additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation and communication. Working alongside teachers and other support staff, you will adapt your approach to each pupil's needs, encourage positive interactions and help maintain a consistent, structured learning environment where pupils feel safe and ready to learn.

• Have the right to work in the UK.

• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.

• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
