An Alternative Provision school based in New Milton is currently seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to start in September or as soon as possible. The school caters for secondary age pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as challenging behaviour.

You will provide guidance and support both in the classroom and for their social and emotional development. Your responsibilities will include implementing behaviour strategies, assisting with classroom management, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Requirements

The ideal Behaviour Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with primary and/or secondary school-aged children
• Experience working with pupils with SEND/SEMH and challenging behaviour
• A passion for pupil progress
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team
