Job description

Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a full-time Behaviour Support Assistant to start working with one of our Secondary Schools based in Central Manchester. Our client is looking to hire someone who is able to start and hit the ground running, in April, until the end of the year (December 2025). Since this is an open vacancy, this role offers the opportunity to progress onto a school-based contract in July 2025.

The role itself will involve supporting teachers in all departments of the school and it is essential that candidates are approachable and outgoing in order for them to connect with students from a variety of backgrounds. It is important that candidates are willing to be flexible and can adapt to teaching students with different learning styles. If applicants have a specific subject area that they feel confident in, please highlight this on your application as the school is willing to utilise any expertise in that area.
