Job summary

Horizon Teachers is seeking a confident Pastoral and Behaviour Support Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in Ashford, Surrey on a fixed-term basis. The role is part-time, covering Wednesday to Friday, with a start in early November until the Christmas break, focusing on supporting students with behaviour, engagement and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will hold an Enhanced DBS (on update service or willing to obtain one) and have experience in pastoral or cover supervision

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience in a pastoral, behaviour support, or cover supervisor role in a secondary setting
• Confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
• Builds positive relationships quickly with students and staff
• Reliable, adaptable and happy to step into cover when needed
