Behaviour Mentor

Location: Birmingham

Duration: Full time, ongoing

Salary: £75 – £85 per day

The School / Role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our team. Our school in Birmingham is dedicated to supporting individuals dealing with behavioural issues, learning differences, or personal obstacles. The school's mission is to empower individuals to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and lead fulfilling lives.

The candidate should have experience supporting children with various academic attainment levels. It is essential that the Behaviour Mentor acts as a positive role model and possesses good academic knowledge to support lessons. Patience, commitment, and the ability to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment are crucial.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teaching Assistant OR relevant SEN background
• PECS and Makaton training/experience
• Experience with SEMH, SEBD, ADHD needs
• Level 1 safeguarding certificate
• Recent school-based references
• Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or Passport
• Full DBS – on the update service
