Job description

Responsibilities

Assist clients and staff with team needs throughout the facility. Support the treatment process within organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures. Review patient activities and communicate observations to staff. Ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations. Provide clerical support to the treatment team, medication services, patient scheduling, and management of the unit office or tech station.

  1. Support recovery activities of patients/clients and relay observations to staff.
  2. Assist patients/clients from admission through discharge as part of the treatment team.
  3. Monitor and maintain patient medications as required by site.
  4. Ensure the site/building complies with safety regulations, including fire safety and visitor policies.
  5. Perform driving duties as needed.
  6. Additional site-specific duties include:
    1. Accompany residents/patients/clients to appointments and outings.
    2. Manage money restricting programs within organizational guidelines.
    3. Assist with toxicology screenings.
    4. Support vocational goals of residents/clients.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in addiction treatment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • At least 2 years' understanding of the Twelve Step Program
  • No major motor vehicle violations in the past 3 years
  • No capital violations in the past 5 years
  • At least 2 years free from chemical use

Salary range: $20.93 - $27.67 per hour.
