Job summary

Ayrshire Independent Living Network seeks a Male Support Worker/Befriender for 16 hours per week in Ayr. The successful candidate will assist a 34-year-old man with mobility issues and learning disabilities and engage in various social activities. Responsibilities include personal care, administrative tasks, and household support. Candidates should have swimming ability and be flexible with hours. Previous experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Able to provide personal care and support for a client with mobility issues.
• Good swimmer and comfortable in water for client activities.
• Possess basic skills for diary planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide support throughout the day, including personal care and health activities.
• Assist with administrative tasks like diary planning and reporting.
• Accompany client to social events and perform household tasks.
