Job summary

Mount Nod Primary School is seeking a part-time Play Worker to support the Play Leader in before and after school activities. You will work with children aged 3 to 11, helping to create a safe, welcoming environment and to deliver a varied programme of play and learning.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork and a commitment to safeguarding. You will attend staff meetings and training as required, and may undergo DBS and other pre-employment checks in line with Keeping Children

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to develop partnerships with staff, children and parents.
• Ability to plan and organise activities for children aged 3 to 11 years.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements to create a safe, caring environment.
• Willingness to attend staff meetings and training.

Responsibilities

• Support the Play Leader in the day-to-day running of before and after school activities.
