Job summary

Qualifications

• Access to suitable transport to meet travel requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage discussion groups for beef and sheep farmers.
• Plan and facilitate farmer group meetings.
• Review farm sustainability and profitability performance against benchmarks.
• Encourage adoption of new agricultural technologies.
• Provide technical support to CAFRE Knowledge Transfer & Innovation Schemes.
• Support wider CAFRE management, policy and education activity.
• Communicate technical information to farmers through meetings, press and social media.
